3rd place!
Last week was the Triple S Invitational- the premier kiteboarding competition in North America. It was a busy week to say the least. Besides planning the fashion show and running SENSI Bikinis, at the very last moment, I was invited to compete! This came as a huge surprise and I couldn’t have been (still am!) more excited. Now I was able to ride with the best of the best and spend the week on the water instead of as a spectator!

We sessioned Kite Point and the Light House (in the ocean) quite a bit, only getting a few sessions in the Slick at Real Watersports. We also used the winch to pull us through the boat basin and across a roof top and hot dog rail.

Closing night and the results were tallied. I got 3rd place overall!!! I took 2nd in the Slider portion and 3rd in the Surf as well. So excited!!

While this section seems stagnant since individuals are constantly changing and growing, especially those seeking to travel explore and learn and seeking change, like myself, it is necessary to give some stats I guess. I am Sensi Graves, a recent graduate from University of California, San Diego, with a very long list of interests, hobbies, things I want to do and places I want to see. As of now I am setting myself up to travel as much of the world as possible (my career aspiration is that of explorer) and do the things I love along the way. I am a kiter, surfer and snowboarder and look for these adventures in every destination....as well as good food, new recipes, yoga, cultural art, hip music, cool people...you see where I'm going with this. I love getting out and trying new things and decided to blog about my adventures to inspire others and share the stoke along the way!
